Workshop Explorations in Water
Workshop Explorations in Water
A Fusion of Playful and Practical Explorations in Water
Workshop with Marina Sans and Unnur Valdís
Reykjavík · 15 September · 17:00–21:30
This workshop is an invitation for practitioners with a foundation in aquatic bodywork and water therapies to explore movement, touch, curiosity, and playfulness in the water.
Together, we will blend practical and experimental approaches to aquatic bodywork, exploring how the body moves, responds, and reorganizes within the aquatic environment.
We will look at movement and touch through the lens of fascia, synovial fluid, and the joints, developing a more nuanced awareness of the subtle ways the body can be supported, guided, and awakened through water.
The workshop will also include an introduction to Vedic Sound Healing with Yancy Villa, a visiting guest from the USA, offering another dimension of listening, vibration, and embodied experience.
This is a space to slow down, listen more deeply, experiment, and play — discovering new possibilities within your existing practice and allowing the unique qualities of water to become an even more integral part of the therapeutic experience.
Come with curiosity. Leave with new perspectives, practical tools, and a deeper sense of possibility in the water.
